The Oregon Ducks will look to close out the non-conference slate strong with a win on Tuesday night against Western Oregon, but the Wolves come in undefeated on a nine game winning streak. There is not much recent history between the two teams. The last time they met was back in 1934. They met in 2014 in an exhibition game that did not count toward the standings.
Last time out, Dana Altman saw Oregon get past a tough test in Alabama:
- Four players scored in double figures, led by Dylan Brooks with 23
- Oregon again shot well at 80 percent from the free throw line
- It was the third straight win for Oregon
- The Oregon Defense had 9 blocks and 2 steals vs Alabama
The Oregon Ducks will also likely welcome Dylan Ennis to the team officially on Tuesday night. Ennis transferred from Villanova in the offseason and has been hampered by a foot injury so far in 2015.
Western Oregon is averaging 82 points per game and have won five of their games by double figures. As a team they are hitting close to 50 percent of their shots from the field and near 40 percent from beyond the arc. Andy Avgi has played in 7 games this season and is averaging 22 points per contest. Devon Alexander is averaging over 11 points through 9 games. Avgi is also hitting over 54 percent from three point range and will be one to watch on Tuesday night.
