Two weeks ago 4-Star Running Back Trey Sermon announced his Top 6 and the Oregon Ducks made the list. Sermon is working on his visit list and has an trip to Eugene set for this week according to AddictedtoQuack. Sermon will be in Eugene through Thursday as the Ducks get set for the Annual Spring Scrimmage on Saturday. He had to schedule his visit earlier in the week due to a Track Meet conflict.
It is thought that the Oregon Ducks are not in his top two or three choices, but one visit can make a lasting impression that lasts throughout the entire recruiting process. Sermon was intrigued by the Ducks according to the Oregonian, “I’m very interested in their program and I just want to see how everything works. I want to connect with the coaches and be around it. I want to see how they practice and the environment.”
Trey Sermon is 6 foot 5 and 215 pounds and currently in his Senior year at Sprayberry in Marietta Georgia. He is listed as 14th out of the State of Georgia and 9th by the Running Back position. Of course, the position could end up being one of need entering the 2017 season if Royce Freeman decides the NFL is in his future a year early. If that’s the case he could play a bigger role on Offense as a Freshman.
