Olympic Trials Day 2: Eaton Leads The Decathalon
Day Two of the Track and Field Olympic Trials gets started with the Decathalon and a bevy of Oregon Talent in the 100 Meter Qualifier.
The 2016 U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials begin on Friday and run through July 10th. Athletes from around the country from both the professional level and the college level are in Eugene, Oregon and Hayward Field for a chance to represent the US in Rio.

Day 2 Preview
Following an active first day of competition, Day 2 Shifts to Semi Finals on the Track and the first day of the Decathalon where all eyes will be on Ashton Eaton after his record setting performance during the Olympic Trials in 2012. Eaton will look to take care of half of the ten events on Saturday starting with the 100 Meters. The conclusion of the Decathalon is Sunday. There are other events to keep a watchful eye on Saturday.
The 100 Meter Semi Final(12:33pm PT) will have four athletes with Oregon ties including the return of Jenna Prandini, now with Puma. Jasmine Todd,, Arianna Washington, and Deajah Stephens will compete for a place in the Final on Sunday.
Oregon will also have Cody Danielson in the Javelin Preliminaries, Jasmine Todd pulling a double also in the Long Jump Semis. Autzen Zoo will have Live Coverage throughout the day.
