The Oregon Ducks are looking to climb back into relevance and a win against USC could be a big boost.

Oregon Final – Ducks Run Over By Trojans

Oregon Ducks Gameday Preview

Oregon cannot get caught looking ahead. The USC Trojans are always a team that can pose a challenge for the Ducks. Both teams enter the game with Freshman Quarterbacks. Oregon Freshman Justin Herbert has back to back wins and has thrown for close to 1000 yards in just three games this season. With each game he appears to be more confident. Of course wins are better than losses, but he learned in the double overtime loss to Cal.

With the Oregon Offense finding some footing, the Ducks Defense took a step last weekend with two late interceptions against Arizona State to stop two drives and pick up their first Pac-12 Conference win of the season. Momentum can be fickle. The Ducks need to win three of their final four games to become Bowl Eligible. USC needs just one more win. I believe that with the hole they are in, a Bowl Game would be a successful season for 2016.

USC comes in with a Defense that has allowed just 25 points per game this season. Oregon is still in the ‘Dumpster Fire’ category giving up over 40 per game and dwelling near the bottom of the 128 Schools in the NCAA.

Autzen Zoo will have Coverage stating at 3:30pm Pacific Time. Oregon and USC kickoff at 4pm from Los Angeles on ESPN.
