The Oregon Ducks continued their Non-Conference slate against the University of Texas-San Antonio on Sunday.

It was a quick start for the Oregon Ducks. Sabrina Ionescu put up 16 first half points hitting 6 of 9 from the field and 3 of 4 from three point range. The Ducks shot 50 percent for the first half and had 10 points off turnovers and went inside the paint  for 16 points. The team spread the ball around for scoring and Lexi Bando went scoreless for a good part of the first quarter before finishing the first half with 5 points.

The Oregon Ducks held UTSA to 25 percent shooting in the first half. The third quarter saw Oregon take control and shoot 65 percent to take a 64-39 lead over the Road Runners. Oregon also took the lead in rebounds entering the 4th Quarter, 30-24.

"I wish we would have finished on a high note with a big lead. We wanted to rest out back court for a big game on Tuesday night. Defensively in the first half we were terrific. Did a lot of really good things today, just kind of finished with a dud.Head Coach Kelly Graves on the game against UTSA"

In the 4th Quarter Head Coach Kelly Graves had his entire Starting Lineup on the bench. The team hit just above 25 percent in the 4th Quarter, but they didn’t need to. The Ducks held a 73-55 lead with just over 4 minutes left and would win their third game of the season against the University of Texas San Antonio.

Sabrina Ionescu led all scorers for the Ducks with 26 points and 8 rebounds. Lexi Bando, not 100 percent due to illness still managed 10 points. Oregon saw 24 points off the bench and that will be needed on Tuesday night.

The biggest test of the season now comes to Matthew Knight Arena. The Oregon Ducks will host the Michigan State Spartans from the Big Ten on Tuesday night for an 8pm Pacific Time tipoff on Pac-12 Network.
