Josh Huff was released from Philadelphia last month, but has found a new start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Last month former Oregon Ducks Wide Receiver Josh Huff was arrested with marijuana along with a firearm in his vehicle. It was a mistake that cost him his job. On the season in Philadelphia he was used in a limited role. He appeared in 7 games to that point and had one touchdown catch. Huff was used in the return game and netted 252 yards.
Following the incident he was released on November 3rd. Four days later he was picked up by Tampa Bay and on Tuesday he found himself on the 53-man roster. The Bucs lost Cecil Shorts to a knee injury moving up Huff.
Josh Huff spent three seasons in Philadelphia starting with Chip Kelly in 2014 who drafted him out of Oregon. He transitioned to a more limited role under Doug Pederson this season. He has solid speed and is healthy, a big concern around the NFL this time of year – just ask the Chicago Bears.
