Will the Beginning of a new Era of Oregon Football Start a New Mantra?
Since Chip Kelly was Head Coach, ‘Win The Day’ has been a short, concise ideal around what the Oregon Football Program stood for. It may have been a little gimicky, but Kelly’s Offense certainly was not.
The tradition continued under the recently dismissed Mark Helfrich. Such a moniker helps with a program’s sense of direction, it helps with identity, but the 2016 season under Helfrich did not have a lot of the ‘Win The Day’ motivation and innovation that was seen week in and week out with Chip Kelly.
I read an article pretty much saying Oregon should get rid of Win The Day so people can stop thinking of Chip do you agree

Yes. Win the Day is done. It's been 10 seasons now. Coach Taggart should be allowed to build his own philosophy https://t.co/CfT6Negr3l

We know PJ Fleck has ‘Row The Boat’, will Oregon Footballstick with ‘Win The Day’ or will Taggart take Oregon Football in a new direction? His style would certainly fit with ‘Pound The Rock’ or ‘Grind It Out’ for the the Ducks of Oregon.
A new start and a new beginning for Oregon Football started on Wednesday. Willie Taggart is the first African American Coach in Oregon Football History. He is already making an early impression on recruits, which cannot be overstated.
Next: Oregon Ducks Hire Willie Taggart
Willie Taggart will be introduced on Thursday morning to the media who will certainly have questions. Some will be answered right away, others will require patience and time. Fans will also need to show patience – something that some in the Oregon Football Fanbase seems to be short of these days.
