4-Star Cornerback Thomas Graham Commits To Oregon Ducks

Oregon Football under Willie Taggart saw their first Decision Day with highly touted Cornerback Thomas Graham on Friday.

Graham was on Taggart’s radar, but appeared a little late to the party in recruiting him that did not matter. Willie Taggart is a top recruiter and knows the game well and landed one of the best out of California in Thomas Graham.

Jaylon Redd, one of Graham’s teammates is also committed to Oregon Football. Deommodore Lenoir, a former Oregon Ducks commit who decommitted following the firing of Mark Helfrich completes the trio and may sway back to Oregon. All three had dreams of playing together at the same College as they did in High School.

Thomas Graham released his Top 4 earlier this week and Oregon Football made the list. The Nebraska Cornhuskers were also high on the list for Rancho Cucamonga recruit.

247Sports lists Graham as a two-way player at both Cornerback and Wide Receiver. He is the 8th best at his position and the 8th best out of California. His most recent visit was to Oregon on November 11th, with a different coaching staff. (Of course the little kid in me will he happy to hear Oregon Public Address Announcer Don Essig say ‘Rancho Cucamonga’ a few more times at Autzen Stadium.)

Scout’s Greg Biggins was there to cover the announcement. Biggins said Taggart pushed hard and Oregon Football has been the favorite to land Graham since Monday. According to Biggins, Graham will be an early enrollee and start classes in the Spring at the University of Oregon.

He spoke with 247Sports about his commitment to the Ducks. Thomas Graham is the highest rated recruit for the Oregon Ducks Class of 2017.
