Oregon Football Head Coach Willie Taggart has shifted his recruiting to the Offensive side of the ball and identified an area of need.

One area of immediate need for the Oregon Ducks is at Tight End and Willie Taggart offered JUCO Tight End Mik’Quan Deane according to the Oregonian. The Ducks Offense has seen an uptick in catches for the Tight End position over the years, most recently with Pharoah Brown and Johnny Mundt.

With both Brown and Mundt graduating, there is a hole to fill. While youth has served Oregon well in the past, having someone with experience at the position could bode well for 2017 and give the youth an opportunity to develop. That is where Deane comes in.

Moses Robinson-Carr and Tre McKitty are commits for the Class of 2017 that can sign in February, but it appears that McKitty may be having second thoughts on his commitment to the Ducks since it was to former Head Coach Mark Helfrich.

The Number 4 JUCO Tight End in the Country likes what he hears from Willie Taggart and considers the Oregon Football offer a Game Changer. He is a 3-Star Recruit according to 247Sports. Other that were interested in him include Arizona State, Central Florida and BYU. The scholarship offer from Oregon Football puts the Ducks into his Top 3.
