The Oregon Women’s Basketball team could not handle Kelsey Plum and the Washington Huskies.

Washington came into Matthew Knight Arena and outshot the Oregon Ducks going 10 for 21 beyond the arc. The Pac-12’s Leading Scorer looked as advertised.

Kelsey Plum had 44 points, 22 before halftime. She led three players in double figures. Chantel Osahor had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Oregon stayed within reach in the first half.

Kelly Graves watched his team battle in the first quarter, down just 4 points entering the 2nd. The Oregon Ducks started the game hitting at 73 percent, but cooled off by the end to 55 percent. Without key Starters Maite Cazorla and Sabrina Ionescu in the line-up, Oregon was somewhat limited Offensively. The lack of three point attempts was obvious. Oregon was 3 for 5 from three-point range for the game.

Oregon won the battle of points in the paint 44-36. Ruthy Hebard led the Ducks with 25 points. Justine Hall added 13 points and Lexi Bando was 4 for 5 from field goal range with just one three-point attempt made on the night. The Oregon Ducks are a different team without Cazorla and Ionescu. There is no timetable for their return.
