Oregon Football Recruiting: 4-Star Wide Receiver Tyjon Lindsey Decommits From Ohio State

With Jalen Brown looking to leave the Oregon Football program the timing is interesting for 4-Star Wideout Tyjon Lindsey.

Lindsey was on the watch list for former Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich. He visited Eugene in the Summer of 2015, but at that time decided he wanted to play with his high school teammates and committed to Ohio State according to 247Sports.

Tyjon Lindsey is a 4-star recruit. He suffered a knee injury that required surgery and it appears that Willie Taggart with a keen eye on top talent has been in contact with the Las Vegas native according to the report. Lindsey holds offers from over half the schools in the Pac-12 including USC and Arizona. In his high school career he had over 2100 yards receiving and 31 touchdowns.

On Tuesday, Wide Receiver Jalen Brown announced he would finish his degree with the Ducks but not return to the football field. It may be enough to open the door for Tyjon Lindsey. Taggart is putting the finishing touches on his Coaching Staff with a few more pieces left to fill. This is a development worth keeping an eye on.
