The Oregon Ducks will face Oregon State without one of their top scoring threats on Saturday.
Oregon State Forward Tres Tinkle has been sidelined with a broken wrist. He was hopeful he would be able to play this weekend in the Civil War against the Ducks, but according to the Oregonian, he will miss the game. Tinkle is averaging over 20 points per game this season when healthy and without him on the court, the Beavers are 2-9 this season.
Stephen Thompson Jr is doing his best to carry the extra workload pushing 15 points per game since Tinkle left with the injury. The Beavers are 0-4 in Pac-12 play this season. The Oregon Ducks have started 4-0 with wins over UCLA, USC, Washington and Washington State.
Oregon State and Oregon are on different sides mid way through the season. The Ducks have won thirteen straight games. The Beavers have lost 9 of their last 10 contests and are ranked 11th in the Pac-12 Conference entering the game this weekend.
The Oregon Ducks and Arizona Wildcats are tied at the top of the Conference of Champions at 15-2, both teams are 4-0 in Conference play.
