Dillon Brooks Leads Oregon Ducks to 41st Consecutive Home Win vs Utah
Oregon Ducks Dillon Brooks and Tyler Dorsey took charge for a blowout win over Utah.
The Oregon Ducks returned home looking to take care of business for the ninth straight time against the Utah Utes in front of a National Television Audience on ESPN. Oregon would look to get back on track after a road trip that saw a loss at UCLA, but a win vs USC.
Utah was without leading scorer Kyle Kuzma was ruled out before the game with a sprained ankle. He watched from the bench.
Oregon started out with back to back shots for points with Tyler Dorsey and Jordan Bell making it 5-0 before the Utes hit a two pointer. The Ducks started out 5 for 6 from the floor to push the lead to 11-6 into the first timeout. The Oregon Ducks continued to push the pace, cooling off slightly, but still being efficient on Offense to the tune of 10 assists in the first half. Oregon shot 59 percent for the first half and led 41-25 over Utah.
Dana Altman watched Oregon start the second half the same way they did the first. The team continued to push the pace on the court extending their lead to 20 points before Utah called a timeout. With just over 15 minutes left in the game the Ducks had 14 fast break points vs the Utes with none. Oregon forced Utah into four straight turnovers to start the second half.
With just under 9 minutes left in the game every player that was in the game for Oregon scored at least one point when Casey Benson hit a pair of free throws. In the end, Oregon extended the longest winning streak in the Nation to 41 straight games.

Oregon will look to make it 42 straight and set the table for next season on Saturday. The Ducks host Colorado on Senior Day for a Noon Tipoff on FOX.
