Pac-12 Logjam Rolls To Another Week In Associated Press Top 25
The Oregon Ducks moved up a spot in the Associated Press Weekly Basketball Poll, but so did everyone else.
Following a big win against Colorado on Saturday afternoon at Matthew Knight Arena, Oregon moved up one spot to number 7 this week in the AP Poll. Last week UCLA and Arizona were ranked ahead of Oregon, even though the Ducks have beaten Arizona and tied the season series with the UCLA Bruins. Arizona is ranked 4th this week, the Bruins come in 5th but that will change on Saturday.
While Oregon facces Cal and Stanford and needs to win both games, Arizona takes on UCLA on Saturday night. A UCLA win would give the Oregon Ducks the tiebreaker over Arizona and the top seed in the Pac-12 Tournament. However, an Arizona win could propel the Wildcats to a number one overall seed in the NCAA Tournament if they sweep the Pac-12 Tournament.
ESPN Bracketology has Oregon currently as a 2 Seed following their win over Colorado over the weekend. Arizona is a 2 Seed and with several losses at home, the UCLA Bruins can add to their body of work sitting at a 4 seed.
