Late season road trips to Cal have not been kind to the Oregon Ducks and the meeting Wednesday night has even more meaning to the Golden Bears.

The Oregon Ducks have another business trp this week and it begins in Berkeley where The Golden Bears are 14-2 this season. No one knows better of the importance of protectinng home court than Oregon. Dana Altman has led his team to two undefeated seasons and the Nation’s current longest winning streak at 42 in a row, which will pickup again next season in Eugene.

Oregon has road games the rest of the way and the road warrior mentality has been caught a few times in Pac-12 play with losses at Colorado and UCLA down the stretch. Dillon Brooks and Dylan Ennis are the clear leaders for Oregon of late. Brooks is averaging 15 points per game this season.

The California Golden Bears see opportunity. A win over the Oregon Ducks would boost the body of work, likely enough to earn a bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Ducks look to keep pace with Arizona who face the UCLA Bruins on Saturday night. A Bruins win give Oregon the top seed in the Pac-12 Tournament.
