Pharaoh Brown come back following a devastating injury that could have ended his career at Oregon, but he has a chance now to make and NFL Dream come true, but more adversity is in his path.

Last month Brown was invited to participate in the NFL Combine which begins this week. Brown has had some off the field issues at the University of Oregon, but he is considered one of the top talents none the less. The first few lines of his NFL Combine Profile spell out Character Issues in big bold letters.

"Brown has reportedly had multiple off-field issues since arriving in Eugene, including two fights with teammates and a domestic violence incident that did not result in charges because the authorities determined that his girlfriend was the instigator. Brown also nearly had his leg amputated after a horrific leg injury against Utah in November 2014, though after multiple surgeries he managed to get back on the field for the Ducks in 2016NFL Combine Profile Page on NFL.com"

Scouts are even concerned about his character according to the writeup. Everyone loves a feel good story and Brown could be it on Draft Day. I remember meeting Brown on the field when he was a Freshman.

I remember meeting Brown on the field when he was a Freshman.  We had a short exchange as he was looking at his IPhone with a cracked screen. He was not in the limelight yet and was not playing because of a toe injury. I simply said, “You’re a football player and you dropped your phone.” He dropped his head and gave a chuckle.
