Oregon Basketball: Flock Of Ducks Honored For Regular Season Performance
On Monday the Pac-12 announced Conference honors for the 2017 Regular Season and included Oregon picking up Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
Junior Dillon Brooks started the season on the bench and became a force to be reckoned with in the Pac-12 Conference from the start. He sank the three-pointer to beat UCLA back on December 28th, and did it again on the road a few months later at California leading the Oregon Ducks with over 15 points per game and the top seed inf the Pac-12 Tournament. Brooks was honored with Pac-12 Player of the Year honors and leads the Offensive charge into the NCAA Tournament.
Dana Altman’s team also received an honor on Defense. Jordan Bell was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year helping lead the Oregon Ducks to a Nationally Recognized 6.8 Blocks per game along with teammate Chris Boucher.
Tyler Dorsey was named as a Pac-12 Honorable Mention. Lonzo Ball was named Freshman of the Year for the Conference and Sean Miller from Arizona was honored with Pac-12 Coach of the Year.

The Oregon Ducks enter the Pac-12 Tournament as the top seed facing the winner of Thursday’s Arizona State/Stanford game. Brooks, Boucher, and Bell open the Tournament on Thursday at Noon on Pac-12 Network.
