Oregon Softball: Ducks Set Program Record With 19 Straight Wins
The Oregon Ducks Softball team went on the road again and swept the competition for their 19th straight win.
2017 is off to an impressive start for Mike White and the Oregon Softball team. In beating Stephen F Austin on Sunday they set a new mark. The season opening 19 game winning streak is the longest in the history of the program. Freshman Pitcher Miranda Elish picked up her 4th win on the year in the 8-2 win vs Stephen F Austin.
Oregon outscored the competition 47-7 over the weekend in Missouri. Alexis Mack was 4 for 4 Sunday and enters the Ducks first homestand of the season this weekend hitting at .509. Nikki Udria is also seeing the ball well hitting over 400 as the Ducks return to Eugene.
What is even more impressive than the 19-0 start – the best start and streak in school history is that the Oregon Ducks have yet to play a game at home inside Jane Sanders Stadium.
The Oregon Ducks come home batting .375 as a team. In the circle there have been 19 wins with a team ERA of 1.60. Megan Kleist is 6-0 with a 0.95 ERA and 6 wins. Elish has 9 wins on the season.

Oregon opens the home slate hosting the Oregon Invitational this weekend. The Ducks host Hofstra on Friday at 3pm PT and Idaho State at 5:30pm PT at Jane Sanders Stadium.
