The Oregon Ducks Softball team started the season 19-0 and the Pac-12 Conference has taken notice naming two players to Weekly Honors for last weekends performance in Missouri.

Since the start of the season last month, the Oregon Ducks have reset the record books with the best start in the history of the program. Head Coach Mike White has an Offense hitting .325 as a team and even better individually. Transfer Alexis Mack was named Pac-12 Player of the Week after playing in five games at the Missouri Invitational. She was credited with 9 runs and 4 RBI’s and cranked out an eye-popping .765 batting average helping her team to five wins.

The Oregon Ducks were equally dominant in the circle led by Freshman Miranda Elish. She continued to roll with a 5 inning complete game win over Maryland and took charge with a 2-0 record and an ERA at 0.60 with nine strikeouts. Her perfect weekend earned her Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors from the Conference.

What is most impressive is all 19 wins have come on the road. Now, the hometown fans will get a chance to see the Oregon Ducks this weekend as the team hosts the Oregon Invitational at Jane Sanders Stadium.
