Tyler Dorsey led the way for a second straight game with 23 points sending Oregon to the Pac-12 Championship Game.

The Oregon Ducks started sluggish for the second straight game, but it didn’t matter. Before the ten minute mark in the first half, Cal Bears Jabari Bird would leave the game die to a concussion and not return.

The Bears held up well the remainder of the first half leading the way against the Oregon Defense that appeared to start slow, similar to the game against Arizona State.

Tyler Dorsey continued his recent hot streak from the second half on Thursday starting the game 2 for 2 from three point range. Dillon Brooks started cold hitting 1 of his first 8 shots from the floor. Dylan Ennis tied the game at 29 with two miutes left in the first half. It was another uncharacteristic start for Oregon, but the team battled into the second half.

Dillon Brooks picked up his third and fourth fouls early in the second half, but his teammates were there to bail him out. Jordan Bell and Casey Benson helped push the Oregon lead to 9 points with 15:10 left in the game. Cal came within two points before the end of the game. Dylan Ennis came through with a basket and was fouled. Oregon came away with a hard fought win.

They learned they can play without Dillon Brooks, who was off the floor for nearly the entire second half. The Oregon Ducks now prepare for the Pac-12 Championship game on Saturday.
