The Oregon Ducks may be in consideration for a number one seed and Cali s looking to improve their own Tournament seeding.

Thursday saw the Oregon Ducks dominate a second half and take out Arizona State. The team will need a better start on Friday when they meet California. The Golden Bears need to do a better job guarding Dillon Brooks but as Oregon has shown this season, he is not the only weapon they need to be concerned with.

Tyler Dorsey started out against Arizona State Thursday cold, but heated up in the second half to finish with 21 points. He helped Oregon to their seventh straight win. Cal finished the Regular season on a two-game winning streak. Jabari Bird is averaging 15 points per game. For the Ducks, Dillon Brooks is posting 20 points per game during Pac-12 play.

A win against Cal means a Friday matchup against a possible Top Ten team. UCLA beat USC by three points on Thursday night. There is another factor too.

On Thursday number one Kansas lost to TCU which may open up a coveted number one seed for the NCAA Tournament if the Oregon Ducks can take care of business in Las Vegas. Late wins over UCLA and Arizona will look really good for the season’s body of work.
