Oregon Ducks Chris Boucher Injures Knee, Out For Remainder of Season
Chris Boucher is out for the rest of the season following a knee injury he suffered vs Cal on Friday.
The Oregon Ducks postseason push to a possible Final Four in the NCAA Tournament took a major hit on Saturday night. Senior Forward Chris Boucher ‘tweaked’ something in his knee on Friday against Cal. It ended up being an ACL injury according to 247Sports, ending his season. Boucher finished the game with 10 points and 4 rebounds.
Boucher has been stellar all season for the Oregon Ducks. He has seen the Starting Lineup a handful of times, but has come off the bench more of late. This season Boucher showed he can not only block shots, but make baskets when needed. He is averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds per game this season.
Dana Altman watched as Dillon Brooks missed a good part of the game against Cal on Friday due to foul trouble. His teammates stepped up including Tyler Dorsey who paced the team with 22 points. Oregon will now turn to Kavell Bigby-Williams to fill a role left by Boucher. At the start of Pac-12 play, Bigby-Williams was still finding his role and has since gotten better on Defense.
