Head Coach Kelly Graves given extension through 2023 as he continues the build the blueprint he started with three years ago.

The Oregon Ducks had a historic end to the season making their first Elite Eight in school history and on Thursday, the University of Oregon announced an extension with Head Coach Kelly Graves.

Kelly Graves had a vision for this program when he came to Eugene three seasons ago and for many, the surprise happened this season with a very talented group of Freshman, including Sabrina Ionescu who was one of the top recruits in the country. Ionescu showed she had a high basketball IQ and a knack for double doubles and triple doubles.

She was joined by inside shooter Ruthy Hebard and a team of veterans including Maite Cazorla who helped lead the team past two higher seeded teams in the NCAA Tournament.

Graves set the blueprint and the foundation and what he is building is special. His new contract keeps him in Eugene through 2023 and next season,

Oregon should again make National Noise entering 2018. To end the season they were ranked 16th in the Nation. The Ducks return all of their scoring and rebounding that helped them through the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
