Oregon Football Head Coach Willie Taggart will get a big defensive boost enter Fall with the addition of Defensive Tackle Scott Pagano.

Friday was the day that Pagano decided where he would close out his collegiate career and he chose the University of Oregon over Notre Dame and others. Pagano comes to Eugene after a National Championship with the Clemson Tigers. He graduated a few months ago with a degree in Sociology and was given his full release from the Tigers.

Oregon Football Fans should be excited about Pagano. He not only brings with him National Championship experience but ultimately it will be great to see what the Oregon Defensive Coaching Staff will do with him. He has good size. Scott Pagano is six foot four and two hundred ninety-five pounds. Last season he was impressive.

In 2016 he had 93 tackles, 8 for a loss, 3 Quarterback Sacks and 11 Quarterback hurries.

Scott Pagano is expected to arrive in Eugene in time for Fall Camp. Expect Pagano to infuse the same energy as the Coaching Staff. I expect with his experience he will become an early favorite for a starting position on the Defensive Line.
