The Oregon Ducks hit the road and managed to get a single game out of three vs Arizona over the weekend.

Oregon Head Coach George Horton watched as David Peterson took the ball on Friday night. Peterson picked up his seventh win of the season and sixth straight throwing six innings and giving up five hits. The Oregon Offense gave him enough support. The Ducks put up eight runs to open the series. The team hit .421 on Thursday night. Tim Susnara went 4 for 4 with a double and an RBI.

Friday and Saturday did not go so well for the Oregon Ducks. Both games saw Oregon trying to fight from behind, and it was an uphill battle. Oregon fell a run short in Game 2 and had too much to overcome in Game 3. Arizona averages 9 runs per game this season and when you average the run count through the series, you get exactly that number.

Saturday saw Oregon lose 18-4. It appears that the Sunday Starter Experiment may be back underway as Isaiah Carranza managed 1 2/3 innings giving up 9 hits and 7 runs. Oregon will regroup and face Portland on the road on Wednesday.
