The NFL Draft starts Thursday and one former Oregon Football player could see his NFL Dream come true before the end of the weekend.

Tight End Pharaoh Brown has been through a lot over the last few years. From a toe injury his Freshman season, a snowball throwing incident the following season and a devastating leg injury, there is not much Brown has seen on or off the field, but the off the field issues could catch up with him.

The NFL calls them ‘Character Issues.’ Brown has shown this past year that he can get past them. He performed well in his Senior season, deciding not to discuss or reflect on the injury in Utah. He decided instead to allow his game play dictate a lot for himself and his future. Despite being on a team that went an uncharacteristic 4-8 in 2016, Brown put his stamp on the program in his final season with 33 catches for 426 yards and 5 touchdowns.

During the NFL Combine, Pharaoh Brown showed his strength by leading the Tight Ends in Bench Presses with 25. He has the size to be a contributor at the next level. For his career he has 70 receptions, over 1000 reception yards, and 13 touchdowns. Decent numbers, but they don’t really jump off the page.
