Former Oregon Football Star Devon Allen decided last year to turn pro in Track and Field and he will make his debut as a Professional Friday night.

The last meet that Hayward Field hosted was the Olympic Track and Field Trials last year, when Devon Allen sprinted to the finish line amidst cheers, the loudest of the entire ten days of the Trials leading up to the Summer Olympics in Rio De Janiero.

Coming off a second knee surgery, Devon Allen has been working to get back to his legs back after suffering another injury following his fifth place finish in Rio. The experience has helped Allen become better. According to GoDucks.com, he has been rehabbing in Eugene and will finish his Business Degree in June. On Friday he takes to the track at Hayward Field in the 110 Meter Hurdles as a Professional.

Allen has a busy few months ahead and will be in Jamaica for a meet on May 20th and back at Hayward Field again for the Prefontaine Classic. The USA Championships and World Championships are also likely on the radar before the Summer comes to a close.
