Kleist and the Ducks finished off the top of the third with a double play.

Jenna Lilley started the bottom of the inning with a hit followed by Danica Mercado who earned first base off another error by Florida State, their third of the game. Lilley moved to third and Alexis Mack came to the plate. She hit a single over the third baseman scoring Lilley to make it 2-0 Oregon.

Gwen Svekis came up and hit a two-run home run giving Oregon a 5-0 lead with no one out in the inning. Oregon batted a round in the inning and Jenna Lilley drew a walk loading the bases for Danica Mercado with two outs. Mercado grounded out, but Oregon added to their lead at 6-0.
