The Oregon Ducks received a commitment from 5-Star Big Man Miles Norris on Wednesday night.

Coming off back to back Elite 8 Performances in the NCAA Tournament has certainly paid big dividends for Head Coach Dana Altman and the Oregon Men’s Basketball team. The most recent was the commitment of 5-Star Miles Norris.

Norris is a member of the Class of 2018 and has a Chris Boucher quality. He can defend and also take shots when he needs to. He will be the prototypical big man that Dana Altman needs to form his team around, and when he comes to the Oregon Ducks, he will be a Freshman.

The 5-Star Power Forward has the ability to play both ends of the floor well, and with some time in the gym could easily be a force that no one wants to face. While Norris and Oregon seem to be the right fit, his future teammates only have to wait a year for him to arrive.

Oregon already has a stellar 2017 Class including Troy Brown, Abu Kigab, and Victor Bailey Jr to go along with Kenny Wooten, Paul White and Michael Cage. The Oregon Ducks still have room and may not be done with 2017.
