The regular season comes to an end this weekend as the UCLA Bruins visit the Oregon Ducks at PK Park.

Entering the final series of the year, the Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins come in as similar teams. The Ducks have a one-game edge on UCLA overall. Oregon is 29-23, UCLA is 28-23. The Ducks also have found their bats again after a rough slump to start the month of May. The last homestand ended with games Oregon should have won, but lost. The team was unable to get runs across the home plate.

With a solid performance this weekend, Oregon could make a move toward the middle of the Pac-12 Standings, giving themselves a small chance at a postseason bid. Zach Noll threw five no-hit innings on Monday to close out the final road trip of the year. The Ducks came through with 10-6 win over UC Riverside. Spencer Steer and Gabe Matthews keyed the Oregon Offense. Matthews hit a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning.

The UCLA Bruins come to PK Park winners of four out of their last five, including sweeping Utah last weekend at Jackie Robinson Stadium. UCLA is hitting .258 as a team. Sean Bouchard is the lone Bruin hitting over .300 on the season, leading the team with  16 doubles and 40 RBI’s.
