Former Oregon, Philadelphia, and San Francisco Head Coach Chip Kelly will be coming to a television near you this Fall.

On Friday it was announced that Kelly is joining the ESPN Family of Networks in a Studio Analyst role for both College Football and the NFL. He will be a face of the College Football Pregame on ESPN2 and also provide Analysis on Sunday for games in the National Football League.

Earlier this year it was rumored that Chip Kelly was considering a role with Fox Sports after reports of a tryout surfaced, but he signed a multi-year deal with ESPN. Expect Kelly to be keeping his feelers out to get back into the Coaching Game. He said in January that he would not rule out a return to College Football after spending the last few seasons at the NFL Level as a Head Coach with the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers.

"Over the last 30 years, I have experienced football from one perspective — as a coach. Working in television will allow me to see the game from a different angle; simultaneously, I’ll provide viewers an insight to the mindset of a coach and team while offering alternative views of various situations.Chip Kelly on his change to the Studio(via ESPN)"

Kelly was 2-14 last season with San Francisco and fired after one season with the team. He had more success with Philadelphia with a Playoff appearance.
