The Oregon Ducks are among the teams honoring Phil Knight on his 80th Birthday and will face UConn at the Moda Center on Thursday, November 23rd.

The amount of talent that will be in Portland, Oregon in November is overwhelming. Oregon will begin the Phil Knight Invitational facing a team they saw at the beginning of last season in Hawaii in the UConn Huskies, but this time in the State of Oregon. The brackets for the Phil Knight Invitational were announced on Wednesday.

Michigan State, Georgetown, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Portland, and North Carolina make up the ‘Victory’ Bracket. One matchup that fans are drooling over would be a game between Oregon and Gonzaga, but the Bulldogs are in the ‘Motion’ bracket. They will face Ohio State to open the Phil Knight Invitational.

Duke, Butler, Texas, Florida, and Stanford highlight the ‘Motion’ Bracket. All games are split between the Moda Center and the Rose Quarter. ESPN is the exclusive television partner for the event.

The Oregon Ducks enter the upcoming season with plenty of new talent. The Phil Knight Invitational should go a long way in showing how prepared Dana Altman will have his team for what could be considered a rebuilding year for the Oregon Ducks.
