The Women Of Oregon brought dramatics, excitement, and speed to close out the NCAA Championships.

The Oregon Ducks showed grit and a will to finish on Saturday in less than perfect conditions at Hayward Field. The Women of Oregon set seven Collegiate Records on the final day of competition at the NCAA Track and Field Championships with Raevyn Rogers putting on the exclamation point in the 4×400 and cementing the team in History.

The day started with Georgia having a comfortable lead in the Team Standings. While the Oregon Ducks had the numbers with 14 participants through the afternoon’s events, it was clear that the Hometown team would make a move, and they did. As the final hour approached, Oregon moved to second place and needed to the win in the 4×400 for the team title.

Deajah Stevens did not have her best day in the 100 Meter and fell 10 Meters short of the finish in the 200 Meter. She did not finish the race. She did run a leg in the 4×400 and the baton ended in the hands of Raevyn Rogers.

During the Pac-12 Championships, the key race came down to the 4×400 and Oregon beat USC on a wet track on a rainy day a few weeks ago. At the NCAA Championships the race would end up the same with the Trojans and Oregon Ducks and in the end, Rogers willed her way to the finish line for the Team Victory.
