Former Oregon Ducks Will Reunite In NBA Summer League
The Golden State Warriors have released the roster for the upcoming NBA Summer League that includes four former Oregon Basketball Players.
The NBA Draft was good to the Golden State Warriors. The team drafted Jordan Bell and found a home for Chris Boucher and Dylan Ennis in Free Agency. Ennis also signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Last year Elgin Cook landed with Golden State and on Wednesday it was announced that all four will play together in the NBA Summer League.
Three of the four are completely healthy with Chris Boucher coming off knee surgery following the 2016-17 Oregon Basketball Season. Boucher was injured during the Pac-12 Tournament and did not make an appearance in the NCAA Tournament ending his collegiate career as one of the top shot blockers in College Basketball.
Jordan Bell was equal to the shot blocking task but made a big improvement on the Offensive side of the ball starting last season with the Oregon Ducks. It showed into the postseason and the NCAA Tournament with Bell pushing 12 points per game on Offense.
Dylan Ennis did everything he was asked during his two seasons with Oregon, the first lasted just one game after an injury against Oregon State. He sat out the rest of the 2015-16 season and was the ‘sixth’ man contributor getting points when they were needed last season.
Elgin Cook has been in the Warriors’ system for a year after graduating from Oregon in 2015-16. He has played for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA Developmental League.
