One of the top prospects in the Nation has set official visits, including one to Eugene in late September.

Oregon Men’s Basketball is coming off a Final Four Appearance and as the anticipation begins to build for the upcoming season, Dana Altman and the Ducks will be hosting some possible key pieces of their future, including Bol Bol, Manute Bol’s son on September 30th.

Bol had already expressed interest in Oregon, but now we have the date he will be in Eugene. The 5-Star Center has height at 7 foot 1. Bol is the number 2 recruit in the country. R.J. Barrett, the Nation’s top recruit is also set to visit Oregon in September. With Bl and Barrett visiting Eugene, Altman and the Ducks are in distinguished company with the Ducks, Arizona and Duke being the only three schools to get visits from the top talent from next year’s Recruiting Class.

With the success the program has seen under Dana Altman since his arrival, it is not much of a surprise that certain recruiting doors are now opening up for the program. It is easy  to see why players like Eugene. The product results in more wins than losses, post season appearances and the chance to be taken seriously at the next level, the NBA.

Oregon Basketball is still a few months from beginning the 2017 season after making it to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament. The team will be led by Payton Pritchard and a talented group of young talent. The Ducks lost the majority of their scoring from 2016 with Dillon Brooks, Tyler Dorsey, and Jordan Bell going in the NBA Draft. Chris Boucher was picked up as a Free Agent by the Golden State Warriors.
