After spraining his ankle last week against Wyoming, Wide Receiver Charles Nelson will not be on the field on Saturday night for Oregon Football.

Charles Nelson is the Oregon Ducks most experienced Wideout. He not only plays on Offense, but is also a key player in the Ducks Return game. WIthout Nelson, Oregon will rely on a very young group of Wide Receivers. Despite being young, they are also a very talented group. Darrian McNeal had several dropped passes last week against the Cowboys and would like to atone for those mistakes.

Oregon does have options that also include Freshman Talent Johnny Johnson. Taj Griffin, who moved from Running Back to Wide Receiver during Fall Camp may be the top candidate to see snaps at Wide Receiver. He has experience catching the ball out of the backfield, and also has breakaway speed that should extend the Arizona State Defense regardless of whether the ball is getting thrown his way or not.

Tight End Jacob Breeland is also a target for Quarterback Justin Herbert. The Ducks should use their strength and the Running Game against Arizona State. The passing game has weapons. With Willie Taggart, the best option may be to spread the field with talent and see who catches the ball.

Arizona State is also without a talented Defensive Starter Koron Crump for the game against Oregon. ASU will have to replace a player that can fill multiple positions on the field including Linebacker and Defensive End.

Oregon and Arizona State kickoff at 7pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Network.
