USC at Washington State- Friday @ 7:30 PST

College football fans will get a top-ranked matchup early this weekend, as USC and Washington State face off tonight in Pullman.

This matchup has been getting a lot of hype, as the Trojans and Sam Darnold have not looked at their best so far this season, and now enter an intimidating atmosphere in the Palouse.

Can they keep their playoff hopes on track and fend off the Cougars?

Justin’s pick: Washington State 42, USC 35

The Pac-12 Game of the Week gets its own day. Friday night will have USC visit Washington State. It is a winnable game for WSU, but the experience goes to the Trojans. Home field advantage could play a part on Friday night.

Chris’ pick: USC 41, Washington State 35

Since USC has yet to put a complete performance together so far this season, many in the college football community have circled this game as a potential upset.

This is an opportunity for Washington State to cement themselves in the national playoff picture, but USC is too talented and should be able to get after Luke Falk.

It’ll be back and forth, but I think USC hangs on to win
