Over the last few weeks, daylight is something that Oregon Football and their fans have not seem much of. That trend will continue for the fourth straight week at Stanford next week.

The Oregon Ducks and Stanford Cardinal have played some crazy games over the last handful of years and this season looks to be a good one as well. The Cardinal started the season on the wrong note, but have since righted the ship behind Running Back Bryce Love who rumbled for over 300 yards in a win last week against Arizona State.

The Ducks enter this week 4-1, Stanford comes in at 3-2. Both teams are not ranked, but if Oregon can find a way to get past Washington State, the game will have some additional intrigue. The biggest improvement for Oregon this season has been the Defense. Last week Jim Leavitt stopped the run against Cal holding them to under ten yards for the game.

While Oregon Football hosts Washington State, the Cardinal travel to Utah to take on the Utes this week before getting the Ducks on the farm. Utah and Stanford are set for a 7:15pm Pacific Time kickoff on Fox Sports 1 so there will be no ‘daytime advantage’ for either team entering the game next week.

Oregon has some time to figure out their Offense. Although Washington State may not be the best team to be figuring against. The Ducks will be without Quarterback Justin Herbert for the better part of a month with a fractured collarbone in his non-throwing shoulder. Taylor Alie and Freshman Braxton Burmeister will lead the Offense into a tough month of October.
