The Oregon Ducks practiced on Tuesday with a rejuvenated Offense and the return of some experience at Wide Receiver.

Oregon Football was at a disadvantage against Washington State with two key Offensive Players out with injury. Both Charles Nelson and Dillon Mitchell practiced with the team on Tuesday and are on target to likely return this weekend against Stanford. The Cardinal are a physical team up front and there are adjustments being made after a rough game last week for Freshman Braxton Burmeister.

The Depth Chart was released on Tuesday and Senior Taylor Alie will be available this week. No starter was named with the ‘or’ designation assigned at Quarterback. At Wide Reciever both Nelson and MItchell return to the Depth Chart. At least on paper, Oregon should be better suited on Offense this week.

With Charles Nelson and Dillon Mitchell getting healthy, it will give Burmeister more experienced targets to throw to which should have a better outcome than dropped passes and a lot of miscommunication that was seen last weekend against Washington State. Burmeister will also likely be louder on the field, which was the cause of a majority of the Offensive Penalties vs the Cougars. The Lineman could not make out his cadence and jumped early. Again, it comes with experience and we should see improvement every time the Freshman is on the field this season.

The Oregon Ducks and Stanford Cardinal have played several big games in their recent history. The Ducks were high flying, the Cardinal were more ground and pound and that is still somewhat a storyline.

"Stanford is a well coached football team, they’re physical always have been for a long time. They’re a disciplined unit that is tough and physical…they’re a force to be reckoned with.Co-Offensive Coordinator Marcus Arroyo on the Cardinal"

The Cardinal have a potential Heisman Candidate in Running Back Bryce Love while Oregon will counter with an Experienced and Talented Runner in Royce Freeman. With Oregon dropping their last two games, it will take a lot for Freeman to get back into the Heisman Hunt.
