Former Oregon Football Quarterback Marcus Mariota is expected to return for a key contest Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts.

Two weeks ago Mariota suffered an ankle sprain. He missed the game last weekend, a 16-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins on the road. Matt Cassel filled in and finished the game 21 for 32 for 141 yards and a touchdown. The Tennessee run game was limited by the Dolphins to just over 4 yards per carry and was ineffective.

Marcus Mariota is the key to the Titans success. He is the balance on Offense with both his arm and his feet and the Divisional game on Monday night is key for the rest of the season for the 2-3 Tennessee Titans. The Colts enter the game with Quarterback questions of their own, with Andrew Luck working his way back. Indianapolis is also looking to add a spark to a  2-3 start to the 2017 season.

The former Oregon Quarterback was listed as  ‘Questionable’ on Saturday and last week was taking more reps in practice. Both the Titans and Colts sit a game out of first place in a relatively weak AFC South with Jacksonville and Houston sitting at .500 after six games. The Titans have already beaten the Jaguars this season, led by Mariota.

On Monday Night, Mariota will have wide eyes against the third worst pass Defense in the NFL. ESPN also adds that Tennessee has the easiest schedule for the remainder of the season but they will see Jacksonville and Houston again.
