On Wednesday Miles Norris and Louis King signed letters of intent with the Oregon Basketball kicking off the Early Signing Period for 2018.

National Signing Day is still a few months away officially, but Oregon has picked up a few signatures in the early signing period. While both Louis King and Miles Norris are officially Ducks, both will not be on campus till at least June, but Head Coach Dana Altman and his staff have added two more pieces to what could be an incredible puzzle in the coming seasons.

Miles Norris is a 4-Star recruit and the number 3 Forward out of the West Coast. He comes to Eugene having recently participated in the 2016 USA U17 World Championships Training team. Norris will be joined by 2018 5-Star Louis King and the 5th Best Small Forward in the Nation. He was a member of the 2017 U19 United States World Cup team where he averaged 6 points per game for the team. In his Junior season at Hudson Catholic, he put up over 16 points per game.

The addition of these two student-athletes should give Head Coach Dana Altman some Offensive Options. For this season, Defense will be a big concern and a focus for the team. Next season, the additions of two Forwards will help minimize the subtractions.

The Oregon Ducks are also still in line for some additional recruits, including the top recruit in the country, R.J. Barrett who could swing the Ducks way after some late momentum according to The Oregonian.

The 2017 Oregon Ducks open the season on Friday night hosting Coppin State at 9 pm Pacific Time.
