Oregon Basketball received good news on Thursday with the signing of 4-Star Recruit Will Richardson.

With the introduction of the early signing period, schools across the country no longer have to wait another six months to know what may be coming – or not- coming their way. The Oregon Ducks Men’s Basketball team is putting together a Top 10 Recruiting Class for 2018, and with the addition of one or two more keys they could end up with the number one Recruiting Class for the year.

Will Richardson joins Miles Norris and Louis King as top recruits signed by Head Coach Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks. While fans have had the opportunity to see up close what Altman has brought to Eugene, recruits are now also getting the chance. When the team has success and has seen the NCAA Tournament in each of Altman’s seasons at the helm, it builds a record of success. It also doesn’t hurt when Oregon makes the Final Four.

Richardson did sign his National Letter of Intent before the end of the Early Signing Period on Wednesday. The Oregon Ducks are also waiting to hear from Bol Bol, but it appears they may have to wait longer for the early signing period officially over.

After the success of last year with established players who are now playing in the NBA, that is another reason why recruits like Oregon. Head Coach Dana Altman has built a program of success that has full community support.
