Oregon Ducks Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard power Oregon Ducks past Texas A&M 83-68.

Not only did Oregon show why they were more talented on Thursday night on the road in College Station, but Sabrina Ionescu put on a show scoring her second straight triple-double in the 83-68 win over the Aggies in the third round of the Preseason WNIT.

Oregon shot 50 percent from the floor and close to 40 percent from beyond the arc. The Ducks had a slow start and found a better rhythm in the second half. Oregon had 25 assists for the game to Texas A&M with just 13. The Ducks had 15 turnovers and both teams came down with 42 rebounds.

Offensively, Oregon had five players in double figures led by Ruthy Hebard who was a perfect 10 for 10 from the floor. Sabrina Ionescu contined her Sophomore season hitting all three categories for back to back triple doubles. Ionescu had 16 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists as she continues to climb both the Pac-12 and NCAA Record books.

Ionescu is just the sixth student-athlete in Women’s Basketball History to have back to back triple-doubles and she has tied the Pac-12 Conference mark. The scary part – she is just a Sophomore. On Sunday at Matthew Knight Arena vs Drake, she had her first Triple-Double of the season.
