Oregon Football Head Coach Willie Taggart has likely already made the decision about his future in his actions.

Over the last week, the Oregon Ducks Coaching Staff has been traveling the West Coast catching up with recruits, Taggart included. To me, that does not seem like behavior for someone how is about to jump ship. The Florida State rumors are continuing to ramp up as Jimbo Fisher decides on what his next move will be.

For Taggart, there is a lot in play. For one, NIKE just re-upped with Oregon for another five years, which means the University will be in good hands. The schedule next season, even though it is not his, should be relatively easy to traverse, possibly ending the year in the Pac-12 Championship and maybe a shot at the College Football Playoff.

When Willie Taggart game to Oregon last season he said he wanted to win a National Championship. This year saw Oregon finish 7-5, with the chance at finishing 8-5 with a bowl game victory. It would give the Ducks double their win total from last year. The University of Oregon is also trying to get Taggart to stay.

They offered a revamped contract to their Head Coach worth $20 million over 5 years with a new buyout of $4.5 million vs the $3 million that is causing fans to pull their hair out right now thinking he will return to his home State of Florida. Willie Taggart is a smart man and a smart football coach. The decision he makes will be best for him.
