Oregon Basketball looks to get back on track vs Colorado State on Friday night at Matthew Knight Arena.

The Colorado State Rams are 4-5 on the season and are trying to be the second team to upset the Ducks at home this season. The Rams average just over 70 points per game. The Ducks are putting up 85, but struggled without Troy Brown in a 3 point buzzer-beating loss against Boise State. Brown should be back Friday night. He has cleared concussion protocol and was practicing on Thursday.

Colorado State is an experienced team looking to get back to the postseason

in 2017. The Rams have seen play in March 8 of the last 9 seasons under Head Coach Larry Eustachy. The Rams have an emphasis on rebounding, entering the game with a +7 advantage over their opponents. Oregon may have a different look than in their first eight games preparing for a battle on the boards.

The Rams come to Eugene with three players averaging double figures led by Prentiss Nixon(17 points per game). Nixon and Deion James are responsible for the bulk of the rebounding. J.D. Paige will also factor into the game vs Oregon. Paige and Che Bob commit the highest amount of turnovers with 56 combined already this season.

For the Oregon Ducks, Payton Pritchard is the key vs Colorado State. Over the last two games, the Oregon Sophomore has scored in double figures. Staying out of foul trouble and working on getting back and set have been preached throughout the season by Head Coach Dana Altman. It is time for Oregon to work with the tools they have been given.

While a win over a 4-5 team does not exactly light up the schedule in December, it could be key to the Ducks chances of getting into the NCAA Tournament in March.
