Sabrina Ionescu scored a triple-double in the 90-46 win over Ole Miss at Matthew Knight Arena.

The Oregon Ducks were off to a good start with a 7-0 run. Sabrina Ionescu was busy in the opening minutes with a three-pointer and two assists forcing an early Ole Miss timeout. The Rebels were held without a basket for close to three minutes in the first quarter, but landed 5 for 13 from the floor.

Oregon pushed their lead early with Satou Sabally earning the start with 7 first quarter points. Sabrina Ionescu finished the first quarter with 9 points off 4 for 5 shooting to go with 3 rebounds and 5 assists in the first 10 minutes of play. The Ducks led after the 1st Quarter 26-18.

The second quarter was similar. The Oregon Defense held Ole Miss to just 6 points in the 10-minute span. Ionescu added to her first quarter total getting the ball to her teammates as Oregon continued to push the lead. At the break, Oregon had two in double figures with Ionescu(12) and Satou Sabally(10). Ruthy Hebard led with 7 rebounds.

Ionescu had a double-double with just over 5 minutes left in the third quarter. Oregon led 56-29. The Ducks Sophomore needed just 3 rebounds for a triple-double. As the quarter came to an end Ionescu set a new Pac-12 record with 7 triple-doubles and tied the National record as a Sophomore. Oregon led 70-35 into the final quarter vs Ole Miss.

The Oregon Ducks dominated with 58 points inside the paint for the game. The Ducks Offensive efficiency was led by Ionescu, but the team finished with 23 assists vs Ole Miss. Oregon struggled from three-point range but made up for it inside hitting 50 percent. The final line for Sabrina Ionescu – 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists.

Oregon heads to Las Vegas for the Duel in the Desert. The Ducks will face Texas A&M on Thursday and Hawaii on Friday before opening Pac-12 play at home vs Washington State.
