Oregon is looking to not lose two games in a row and face a big test vs 9-1 Ole Miss at Matthew Knight Arena.

The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team struggled early against Mississipi State and lost by 11 points. Ole Miss, despite not being ranked come to MKA with an NCAA RPI of 39. Oregon comes into the game ranked 9th in the Nation in the AP and Coaches polls. For the Ducks, Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard have picked up where they left off last season.

Ionescu is averaging 8 rebounds per game this season averaging 17 points per game and hitting over 50 percent from three-point range. Hebard is also putting up 16 points and pulling down over 8 rebounds. Lexi Bando could be the wildcard for Oregon on Sunday. She has shown flashes early and is ready for a breakout game.

For Ole Miss, three starters average double-figures through the first 10 games of the season. Alissa Alston averages 16 points per game and it hitting at 54 percent from the floor and 78 percent from the free throw line. Alston is the go-to for Ole Miss, putting up better than 20 points in three games this season. The Rebels average 77 points per game hitting 45 percent from three-point range.

Chyna Nixon and Promise Taylor are strong on the boards. As a team, they pull down 42 rebounds per game. Ole Miss also commits 16 turnovers per game, but they have made up for it averaging 15 free throws per game. If Oregon plays well and limits fouls, it could play a big role in the game on Saturday.
