The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team will face Texas A&M in Las Vegas on Thursday and it is a team they already know.

Oregon heads to the Duel In The Desert, a two day tournament and will take on the Aggies first. The last time Kelly Graves watched his team play Texas A&M, Sabrina Ionescu went off with a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in an 83-68 win in College Station. This time, the two teams meet on a neutral court.

While Ionescu will be on Triple-Double watch, Ruthy Hebard will continue her early season domination inside the paint against SEC opponents. Facing Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State she is averaging 21 points per game to go with 7 rebounds. She is hitting over 70 percent from the floor.

Freshman Satou Sabally has shown her skills over the last month and could also be a big factor in the rematch vs Texas A&M. She played just 4 minutes on November 16th, but since has earned two starts and is averaging just under 13 points per game on Offense and is making plays on Defense with 9 blocks and 11 steals on the season.

Texas A&M has won eight of their last nine games after losing to Oregon. Their other loss was to 11th ranked West Virginia. The Aggies are coming off a dismantling of Hawaii 103-59 from Wednesday night. Khaalia Hillsman had 25 points. Danni Williams dropped five three-pointers and finished with 24 points.

Despite beating the Aggies last month, teams change throughout the season and right now, Texas A&M can be seen as a dangerous opponent. Oregon will have to be disciplined.
