Oregon secured the top-rated player in their class when safety commit Steve Stephens signed his LOI for Oregon.

Stephens is a composite four-star at his position, and many recruiting experts believe he can make an instant impact in the Oregon defensive backfield.

After Taggart deserted Oregon, Stephens stayed strong in his commitment, and was locked in after Cristobal was announced as head coach.
