Oregon Ducks Take 5-Game Winning Streak On The Road vs USC
The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team takes momentum into their first Pac-12 Road Trip of the season.
Sophomore Sabrina Ionescu claimed her fifth Pac-12 Player of the Week honor of the season on Monday. So far, it has been awarded eight times. Ionescu now owns the record for Triple Doubles with eight, which rewrote the NCAA Record books earlier this week against Washington. Ionescu and Oregon now hit the road to the LA Area schools for their first road trip of the season.
Oregon comes into the week ranked 9th in the AP Poll, up a spot over the last few weeks. Oregon swept Washington State and Washington at Matthew Knight Arena over the weekend. Freshman Satou Sabally was also recognized this week.
Sabally has been in the Starting Lineup over the last month and has stepped up her game. She averaged 13 points against the Cougars and Huskies and racked up 8 assists and 7 steals. Sabally was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for the third time this season as Oregon continues to roll into January with a five-game winning streak.
Head Coach Kelly Graves also hit a career milestone against Washington, with his 500th Career win. Oregon has one of the top Offenses in the Nation with Ionescu and Sabally. Ruthy Hebard has worked inside shots with Lexi Bando heating up at the right time from beyond the arc. Oregon is averaging close to 90 points per game this season.

Oregon takes a home winning streak on the road this weekend with games against USC and UCLA. The Ducks and Trojans tipoff Friday at 8 pm Pacific time on Pac-12 Network.
